Made in SA / Howzit Boet, with support from SA Polyhammer, held an exceptional golf day at Glenvista Country Club in Alberton. The event saw a fantastic turnout with 58 four-balls participating and 25 companies joining in to support this remarkable day. Now in its 11th year, the primary goal of this event is to foster a strong support base and build a robust business network, rather than raising funds.
Currently, they’re in the process of establishing the “Howzit Boet Academy of Industrial Entrepreneurship,” aimed at tackling unemployment and poverty in South Africa through skill development and transfer. The golf day also served as the perfect opportunity to showcase the new “Howzit Boet” merchandise, which is directly connected to their educational initiatives.
A special thanks to Dean and Samantha Fegen for hosting this memorable day, to the Glenvista Country Club crew, and to RocoMamas for sponsoring food for all players.
Special thanks to Erin Reed and Gwendoline Nienaber for ensuring all ran smooth.
