The event was held by Buurman’s Pub and Grill and anybody could participate in the Strongman and Armwrestling sport optical. All the money raised for the day was going to St. Francis Care Centre. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this day with us and making these children’s Christmas the best day of their life.

St. Francis Care Centre invites YOU to become an “Angel of Love ” to our Rainbow Cottage, which provides residential care to 35 abandoned or orphaned children from birth to seven years old infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. These children have no place to stay, they have no parents or families to provide care to them. They are extremely ill and malnourished upon their arrival at our Centre, they are developmentally delayed. Some of the new born babies admitted at our Centre are under 6 months. Your monthly contribution (any amount of your choice) as an “Angel of Love” would assist us to do the following for the children.

Armand Hofmeyr was the entertainment for the day, what an honour it was to meet him. He’s such a kind hearted person.

Crusaders Bikers Club also supported this special day.

This is the second time that Pain & Gain Armwrestling has supported St. Francis Care Centre. Check out this link of the Boksburg Advertiser article.

Lu-Anel Singer was also there but not for entertainment, only for supporting her brother with the strongman competition where she also took part in the strongman competition.

Biltong and Braai had a food stall for the day.

Ben & Luigi Wood-Fired Pizza had a Pizza competition, eat a pizza in 1 minute and 40 second and break the record.

Thank you to everybody who supported this wonderful event and if you would like to register as an “Angel of Love” contact the Centre on 011 894 4151 or Email jessie@stfranciscarecentre.co.za. You are always welcome to visit the Centre.
