August was the month of Woman… and we celebrated Woman’s Award South Africa at Emperors Palace. What a privilege to have spent this day with women that have such an impact in society. Every one of them deserve their award or awards. This was such a great event and I met so many talented and stunning people. In South Africa the term Mbokodo means bravery, strength and leadership, among others.
Brenda Mamputa hosted this event and we can say it was really a great event and she really went out of her way to make this event spectacular.
Dr. Shiksha Gallow was the speaker for the event, Dr. Shiksha Gallow is a pioneer in the Medical cannabis industry globally as a Cannabis Clinician. She is the Medical Director of Holistic Integrative Healing Institute and the Principal Investigator for the first Medical Cannabis Study in South Africa. Dr. Shiksha Gallow received the following awards: Woman in Medicine, Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths), Woman in Healthcare and Wellness and Woman in Education and Training.
